DRCRC 1st Annual Fall Enduro Championship - September 9th, 2011

Is the track going to be open earlier than 7pm for any setup time? I'm probably going to leave work early on Friday, I just want to get an idea of how early I should leave.

Hey Tim

The track should be open and ready for practice by 6pm. We are aiming for an earlier set up than that, but as it is still a weekday some uncertainty surrounds the exact timing. I expect we'll be set-up around 4 with luck.

Cool. As long as traffic isn't too crazy I should be able to get there by 6ish.

Also, if it isn't too late, can we change our team name? Seeing as it is now just JB and I, I'd like to call us:
"The TSAN/JB Experience!!"

First Annual (possibly semi-annual) Enduro Championship! Friday September 11th at Rona in Whitby! (Tomorrow)

10 Scale Racers

Cars must be submitted for tech inspection by 7:45pm. Scale Race will start at 8:00pm! Unregistered teams/drivers should check-in before 7:00pm.
Drivers meeting will be held at 7:15pm and is mandatory (at least one driver per team must attend). If you cannot make this for any reason, please call, text, or facebook us!

8 Scale Racers

The 10 Scale Enduro should be over by 11:00pm. We will have a short drivers meeting at 11:45pm and the race will start at 12:00am sharp. If you have not registered for the event yet, please do so by facebook, replying to this thread, or using http://tracks.rcsignup.com/events/displayEvent.cfm?ID=2183

GJ's Grill on Wheels will be on site to provide burgers and such at his always low prices! Please also help us thank him for supporting this and future events!

The track should be set up and open for practice by 4pm on Friday. Track will reopen for practice Saturday at noon until 4:00pm. We will host the Touring Car Shooutout Point Series Saturday evening 4:00pm to 10:00pm (race at 6:00pm) and then Sunday we will host our regular Sunday's at Rona All Classes Racing event.

Sunday October 14th will be our last outdoor race of the season. This will be a Trophy event! More details to follow!

I'd like to give a big thank you to the Durham guys for putting on such a fun event! I have to admit, the time went by much faster than I thought it would. (Note to self: Next time run a more modern/durable car! We had every single king pin and ball stud ripped out, and glued back in, not to mention lost dog bones and a few other miscellaneous parts!)

I'm definitely looking forward to running this again next year! We also briefly discussed the possibility of a two-club enduro series between Durham and FastCats.

Thanks Bill. The TB02 has officially been retired, but it may make the odd appearance now and then in the future. I'm moving on up to a TC5 this week. Still not the newest chassis, but much more competitive than the TB!
