Mini: 1/10 scale Tamiya M-Class Chassis. Tamiya M-Class body, Tamiya 540 silver or black can motor,  any battery type, rubber tires. Your car body must be on car during race. 5 minute qualifiers, 5 minute mains.* No Reverse allowed!

DRCRC Spec Mini requires either a Tamiya 540 Black or Silver can motor and rubber tires. All other hop-ups are permitted. So yes, the configuration you list would be permitted provided you have the correct motor installed and run rubber tires.

Tamiya TCS Spec Mini however has it's own rules that apply for all TCS races (including TCS events held at DRCRC)

Hey, new here and hoping to run in the October meeting.

Just wanted to make sure Black Can motors are ok in Mini? Just the classes section of the site says silver cans....

Also I wanted to run an old LRP Quantum2, I take it thats ok too?

Thanks

Hi Stubaxle

To keep the Mini class somewhat even, we only allow the Silver Can motor to be used for race events.

The ESC should be fine though.

Hope to see you at the race!

Cheers.
Mike.
