Race Day Schedule:
Track Set-up: 4:00pm
Practice: 5:00-6:15pm
Drivers Meeting: 6:20pm
Racing: 6:30pm
GT2 Specifications:
CHASSIS: any 1/10 scale, 190mm electric touring car chassis.
BATTERY: any Lipo (2 cell max.) or Ni-cd / Ni-Mh (6 cell max.) Must not exceed 5000mAh.
MOTOR: 540 size, Tamiya Silver Can, Tamiya Black Can, or any 21.5 brushless.
ESC: any electronic speed control with NO ADVANCED TIMING OR BOOST. This feature must be disabled and this will be inspected. No reverse allowed.
TIRES: 1/10 scale rubber touring car tires only.
BODY: any 1/10 scale, 190mm touring car body. (no wedge type / Can-Am bodies allowed) Body must remain on car during the race.
Race Length: 6 Minute Heats, 6 Minute Main.
GT1 Specifications:
CHASSIS: any 1/10 scale, 190mm electric touring car chassis.
BATTERY: any Lipo (2 cell max.) or Ni-cd / Ni-Mh (6 cell max.)
MOTOR: Any 540 Size Electric Motor
ESC: any electronic speed control. No reverse allowed.
TIRES: 1/10 scale rubber touring car tires only.
BODY: any 1/10 scale, 190mm touring car body. (no wedge type / Can-Am bodies allowed) Body must remain on car during the race.
Race Length: 6 Minute Heats, 6 Minute Main.
Rules:
This is a Saturday evening race series for the Electric GT1 and GT2 cars only. There are a total of 7 GT2 races and 5 GT1 races currently on the schedule. Additional events will be added as soon as we determine dates. Only your top 4 results for GT1 and top 5 results for GT2 will count towards the championship. Trophies will be awarded to the top finishers at the end of the season.
The scoring format will be as follows:
1st Place: 100 points
2nd Place: 99 points
3rd Place: 98 points
4th Place: 97 points
5th Place: 96 points
etc.
In addition, the top qualifier at each event will receive 1 bonus point.
If there are enough entries to divide the racers into an A, B, or C class, the winner of the C Main will have the option to bump up to the B Main, and the winner of the B Main will have the option to bump up to the A Main. However, they must have another battery ready to go if they choose to bump up.
Entry Fee:
The entry fee will be $10.00 per event. If you run both classes, the fee for both is $15.00
